Bradley MASSACHUSETTS COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN ANNOUNCES THEIR UNSUNG HEROINES OF 2008 Janet Bennett, Roseanne McMorris selected from the Towns of Hull and Cohasset BOSTON– Representative Garrett J. Bradley (D – Hingham) is pleased to announce that Janet Bennett and Roseanne McMorris have been selected by the MCSW as two of their 2008 Unsung Heroines, representing the Towns of Hull and Cohasset, respectively. Ms. Bennett presently serves as the Hull Town Clerk and has worked for the town for 47 years. Janet has consistently shown through the years a strong work ethic and dedication to the Town of Hull. “I can think of no one better than Janet Bennett to receive this award.” said Rep Bradley. “Her efforts continue to benefit the entire community, and it is time for her to receive the thanks she so richly deserves.” Ms. McMorris has been both a Town Selectwoman and Chair of the Board of Selectman, serving the Town of Cohasset for many dedicated years. Ronnie has consistently shown through the years a strong work ethic and dedication to the Town of Cohasset. “I am thrilled that Ronnie has been selected to receive this award.” said Rep Bradley. “Her efforts to improve the educational facilities in the Town were indispensable, and our students have Ms. McMorris in part to thank for their beautiful schools.” Janet and Roseanne will be among the other honorees at a special ceremony to be held at the State House on May 14th.
