Rep. Bradley finishes 112th Boston Marathon

Raised money to Benefit the Autism Center of the South Shore

April 7, 2008; April 21 update

BOSTON– Representative Garrett Bradley (D – Hingham) on April 21 completed the Boston Marathon in a time of 4 hours, 45 minutes and 9 seconds; his third time running the race.  He wore bib number 25747.  As in the twoprevious races, all donations received will benefit The Autism Center of the South Shore, a center which assists children with autism and their families.

“The Autism Center is a wonderful organization that works tirelessly on behalf of autistic children and their families,” said Representative Bradley.

For this year's race, Representative Bradley raised over $3,500 for The Autism Center.

“The energy of the Boston Marathon and the support of the spectators makes it a very special event,” said Representative Bradley. “I am honored to have run again to benefit the Autism Center so that they can continue all of their great work.”

Representative Bradley was joined in the race by his Aunt Jean Silbert of Florida.

The Boston Marathon covers 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston, with more than 25,000 runners participating.

Those interested in supporting the charity may write a check payable to The Autism Center of the South Shore or “ACSS” and send it directly to the center at 210 Winter Street, Suite 101, Weymouth, MA 02188.
